Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Tabitha Uitenbroek and I am an experienced clinician with a personal mission to care for people how I would my own family. My nursing experience spans from fracture/orthopedic care to surgical prep and recovery and program operations/management. The choice to return to school and become a Nurse Practitioner was both daunting and exciting as I knew it was time to leave management and return to my personal mission. As a mom, I look for providers that are kind, listen, and collaborate. I am committed to be this type of provider for you and your family.
I am a wife to Andy (a talented graphic designer who also made this snazzy page for me), mom to two fun boys, three wild cats and one sweet-natured dog. We love cooking, lounging, biking, reading, swimming...basically anything that involves all of us!
My training includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from North Park University (2007), a Master of Science in Nursing focused on Nursing Management and Leadership from Western Governors University (2017), and a Post-Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University (2021). My Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner was obtained through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (2021). Additional certifications include: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and Trauma Certified Registered Nurse.
